COGNITIVE TASK FORCE INVITATION

Cognito_Risk

1. Introduction: Invitation to participate in d.t (decider.track)’s 1st  live prototype

Imagine you can go back in time to the events of January 2005 when the sub-prime crisis was emerging. But while back in time to 2005 you are in a new world with a machine that can think with you and for you. The machine is able to make decisions for you when you are not available or when you are overloaded with work.

For example, you arrive at your desk in the morning and see on your computer screen many informal events which could be alarms but you have no time to analyze them. You decide to put a cyber_tracker, a d.t, on each alarm so that d.t can follow the alarms for you, making links between information.  In a few hours or days, d.t will interpret the alarms/events and will propose some solutions or decisions.  Even better, it will make the decision for you, if you allow it.

This is the future tool, decider.track, that one day you will have at your desk. The 1st live prototype of this cutting edge tool is currently under realization in company labs.

2. Invitation to participate in d.t (decider.track)’s 1st live prototype: Join cognitive Task Force

You are invited to become a stakeholder in the realization of the 1st “Man Machine Co-Decider” live prototype, based on Co-Mining® technology.

A key element in the development of this "Anti-subprime Co-Decider" prototype is the "cognitive modeling" of the subprime case.  Co-Decision Technology works with financial specialists who were involved in the markets during the crucial 18 month period - January 2006 to August 2007 – even earlier, when the crisis was growing and culminated in the bankruptcy of Lehmann Brothers.

A cognitive Task Force is gathering financial players from North America, Western Europe, Oceania and Asia/Emirates who are ready to formalize and communicate their knowledge and their reactions during the subprime crisis and the Lehmann Brother bankruptcy so that they can be modeled.

Eighty percent of the knowledge is generic, the same for all financial players and 20% is specific. The generic knowledge model will be implemented in decider.track and 20% will be customized for each person. Co-Decision Technology is going to ask you a number of questions to make a model of your behavior regarding alarms, risks, frauds, uncertain events.  This model will mimic your brain to create an artificial brain which will be a reflection of your thinking modes and habits.

This knowledge and data will be uploaded to the decider.track prototype and the machine will build links between the micro-elements of information observed at that time and will find new decisional tracks. The decisional tracks will be built by the machine, transforming the weak signals into strong signals and decisions into action.

3. Who composes the cognitive Task Force and for which benefit?

The cognitive modeling Task Force is composed of financial players who are interviewed about the alarms/concerns (weak signals) that they observed during the crisis period and their interpretation of those signals and what decisions they took as a result.

The financial organizations comprising the Task Force are selected from 3 categories:

  1. Banks/hedge funds/traders
  2. Rating agencies
  3. Regulators (as SEC in USA or AMF in France)

After the cognitive modeling and the building of a decider.track prototype for Finance, participants will become gamers in a live experiment - a Serious Cyber Game - to test decider.track and have the benefit of a competitive advantage if they want to acquire the Co-Mining® technology.

4. Enter a live experiment with your “Man Machine Co-Decider”

When the live decider.track (d.t) prototype is ready, it will be installed in the computer of each member of the Task Force with a customized artificial brain for each player. d.t becomes your “Co-Decider”

All decider.track machines in North America, Europe, Asia, Emirates, Oceania will be interconnected in a closed and secured mode and will be connected to the data flows of the period.

Task Force members will participate in a live experiment compressing the 18 month duration of the crisis into 3 months. You will operate in real time with the data that existed then but with a new tool in your hands. The tool will work, with or without you, days and nights.

They will be in the Serious Cyber game with the other financial players who also experienced the crisis and who have their own artificial brains in their computers.  The reactions of all players will be captured in simulators and they will be able to react to all alarms, frauds, noise, informal events and risk anticipation. Participants will be able to exchange with each other their cyber_trackers and thus be able to share their points of view.

The objective of this immersion will be to show what your behavior could be if you had access to dt (decider.track), a “co-decider” that is able to work, analyze and decide with you, individually and collectively.

5. Enter a live experiment with your “Man Machine Co-Decider”

Joining the Task Force implies giving four hours (1/2 day) of your time weekly over a 3 months period.
